New TransAtlantic Portal against counterfeiting and piracy launched

The European Commission and the United State (US) Department of Commerce have launched a TransAtlantic IPR Portal to make it easier to find resources related to intellectual property rights for businesses. The new web site has been created to identify the areas and modalities for joint action particularly in third-countries of concern regarding intellectual property rights protection.

The European Union and the United States share the aim of helping businesses – particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) – protect and enforce their intellectual property rights in foreign markets around the world.
